Hello, how are you all hope you had a nice summer. If you don't know who I am, I was the President (note capitals ;D) a few years ago and if you do know me you're invited to a halloween party on saturday the 28th october. ok if you really want to come and don't know me you can come too, will just have to find places for people to crash. About the IOM, obviously you're all going again this year, but I was wondering if you knew anyone who wants to join PRISM. I remember a bradford girl last year who did really well who mentioned she wanted to join us, can't remember her name though I'm also going to try and tempt Shelley to join PRISM, pretty please See you all soon SallyM ex-el-presidente

Hi Sally! It was Hannah who was saying that she was leaving Uni, but wanted to come back to Isle of Man. Her email address is on her profile, I'm not sure where she is now - or even if she's still shooting (she better be!) Other people who have finished are Andy (CobaltFish) and Paul Newnham (PangBiro) although it will depend on work related things if they can go or not It looks like IOM might clash with the last two days of our term this year (they've shortened Easter hols) so numbers might be more of a problem As for me shooting for PRISM sorry Sal, if you cut me in half I'd have UBU Archery Club written down my middle! lots of archery love from rainy old bradford! shells

IoM is important!! Where else would I get to thrash a binimus on narrow lanes?! Anyway (in the vain hope someone who knows the answer reads this) What are bradfords plans for IoM? Cos I could do with a holiday.... even if its a few months away still. Is the overnight ferry crossing the one your planning on catching, or like prism is it gonna be 2:15pm on the thurs? Having been away from bradford for a while, prism may well have their wicked way with me and convert me to shoot for them, but I'm quite happy to drive if I'm needed (and can get up to bradford in time before to get the paperwork done), but need to know who I should give my monies to!

not sure, it's probably easier for you to go via PRISM i'd have thought, not that the decision hasn't been made already given the date...but i've not been on here for an age.

*watches the tumbleweed* Some bad news for you. I was talking to a family friend yesterday, who used to live on the island, and has family there still.... anyway aside from my family history..... the castle mona has closed! I have checked up news on the net to make sure I'm not perpetuating a false rumour, and there is stuff on isle of man news websites. They went into liquidation on about 14th december 06, to the great suprise of everyone-the hotel, nightclub and bowling ally too! Its a great shame if no one is able to re-open it for the trip-I've really enjoyed my stays there over the past few years. I'm sure that Helen and budgetmann tours will be able to sort out something, but I thought I'd make sure it wasnt too much of a shock, come march if we're not there.

hey... have spoken to Helen from Budget Mann tours and good news there is a bidding war going on over the Castle Mona hotel, and even if it doesn't reopen then the other hotel approached for accommodation is aparently a nicer one

Hehey! I'm coming as a Prism'ite, but making my own way there with some of the Leeds crowd - as long as my car is back on the road. Really looking forward to it, and given a recent spate of PB's (562 and counting) should be fairly competetive.
